Practice Management - The company was formed by Leslie Isaacs, who has been a Practice Manager for more than 7 years and now manages a group of three Practices in the Wirral, Cheshire. With this depth of practice management experience, PayeDoc is able to provide a comprehensive service that is specifically designed for the very particular needs of general practice. The computer program used by PayeDoc has been developed in-house, which means that PayeDoc can always accommodate any non-standard processing or reporting requirements that a Practice or PCT may have.

Payroll Processing - Most of the routine payroll processing is dealt with by Susan Jenkinson. Prior to joining PayeDoc Susan was the payroll manager for 7 years for a large shipbuilding company on Merseyside, where she was responsible for running the payroll for up to 500 permanent, weekly-paid employees as well as varying numbers of casual employees. In 1995 Susan gained a Diploma in Payroll Management, under the auspices of the Institute of Payroll Management.

Please note that only a small sample are provided here: we have many more report formats available, and we are regularly adding new ones to our library to cater for individual Practice or PCT requirements.

General Summaries

• Covering Letter - The covering letter that is posted to you with your payslips and other reports provides you with a snapshot of all the critical totals for the month.
• Main Summary Report - This lists all the elements of each employee's pay and their deductions. A year-to-date version of this report is also available.

Pension Reports

• LP11 - The LP11 (formerly GP1) is the form that is used to complete the monthly return to the NHS Pension Agency via Pensions OnLine, detailing the employees' and employer's contributions to the NHS Pension Scheme. We also supply a corresponding schedule for any AVCs payable to Equitable Life, or to any non-NHS pension schemes.

We will provide the completed BACS proforma for you to fax to your bank. As well as the NatWest Autopay and Barclays BOBS formats show here, we also currently provide proformas for Lloyds/TSB, HSBC, Coutts, Barclays Payflow, Royal Bank of Scotland and Investec Bank, plus individually completed Giro Credit Slips.

Reimbursement & Departmental Reports

Although GMS and PMS budgets are no longer in general use we know that many Practice continue to monitor various notional budgets and 'pots' of funds that are available to them, and we therefore continue to provide various Budget Reports (customisable for the Practice) where these are required. Departmental Analysis Reports are also available, and again these can be customised to suit an individual Practice's needs. All these reports can cover a month, a quarter or a year - or any other period.
