Frequenty Asked Questions

Questions
Answers
Do you administer the NHS Pension Scheme? YES. We will deduct the appropriate contributions from employees' salaries and calculate the employer's contributions. This will included any AVC (Equitable Life) and Added Years contributions, as well as any contributions arising from any non-NHS pensions. As well as the LP11, we also supply SD55 reports for leavers and year-end updates

Can you deal with our GP Registrar's pay? YES. We are very familiar with all the elements of Registrars' salaries - basic, the 65% non-superannuable addition, the car allowance and when appropriate London weighting. We can also supply any claim forms required by your HA/PCT, fully completed each month.

Can you supply the BACS proformas that we have to fax to the bank? YES. We regularly issue BACS proformas for NatWest Autopay, Lloyds/TSB Telepay, HSBC Telepay, Barclays BOBS, Barclays Payflow and Couttes Crownpay, as well as a number of other, customised instruction proformas for some smaller banks. By arrangement, we will issue the completed proforma directly to your bank

Your fee seems very reasonable. Are there any hidden extras? NO. There is no set-up fee, no end-of-year fee nor any of the other so-called 'extras' that some other agencies charge.

Does the fee go up if we take on more staff? NO (unless the total number of staff increases by more than 30%). Fees are updated each April according to the number of staff processed with the preceding February payrun. Any inflationary increase is linked to the latest Whitley Council rate increase

If we register with you, how long are we tied to the contract? There is no minimum contract period and no notice of termination. We believe that the only client worth having is a happy one, so if you are not happy you are completely free to make other arrangements. WE HAVE YET TO LOOSE A CLIENT!

Are you insured? YES. We carry professional indemnity cover to the value of £100,000

Is there anything you DON'T DO? YES. We do not give advice on the NHS Pension Scheme or initiate automatic pay increments.
